"Salzburg Highlights"

The ideal opportunity for all those who do not have a lot of time: be introduced to the birth town of Mozart with a great number of historic sights and see where the Trapp Family Singers came from.

The route includes stately Mirabell Palace and gardens, Mozart's Residence, the concert and theatre halls of the Salzburg Festival as well as old city gates, fountains, the cathedral, and Mozart square with Mozart statue. One of the famous Salzburg beer halls is situated on the way.

On request, the tour can be supplemented by a foot walk with an official city guide to visit Mozart's birthplace, Getreidegasse, St. Peter's Abbey and cemetery, and Nonnberg Abbey.

The Route

Schloss Mirabell – Landestheater – Mozarts Wohnhaus – Marionettentheater – Mozarteum – Staatsbrücke – Mülln / Augustinerbräu – Klausentor – Gstättentor – Pferdeschwemme – Festspielhäuser – Rudolfskai mit alter Stadtmauer – Kaiviertel – Dom – Residenzplatz – Mozartplatz mit Mozartdenkmal – Rückfahrt über Imbergstraße.

Die Tour kann auf Wunsch noch durch eine Fußführung mit einem konzessionierten Stadtführer erweitert werden: Getreidegasse – Mozarts Geburtshaus – Alter Markt – Stift St. Peter mit Friedhof – Kloster Nonnberg.
